We all make generalizations sometimes... it's a very common thing to do. But sometimes we have to look at our generalizations and see if they're faulty. Maybe we have too little evidence, or simply anecdotal evidence, to support them. Or maybe we only have a set of examples. In today's podcast episode, Pat and I explore a common logical fallacy: Proof by Example (aka Faulty Generalization), and how we can combat our implicit biases by acknowledging our generalizations.
