In episode 12 of telling their stories, York University commit, Mackenzie Dunford, shares with us his recent decision to come out and how his mental health journey was affected throughout.
Dunford is a 6'4" 255lbs lineman who had committed to Vanier, but with the pandemic and cancelled season, he was unable to play. Prior to that, he played with Kingston Jr. Gaels and Sydenham High School.
He is now advocating for LGBTQ athletes and has stated a website, LGBTQ in Sports: Bringing the stories of LGBTQ athletes to life.
