The Honey Ant Song comes from Australia, although you can find honey ants in Central and South America, New Zealand and other places with hot, desert climates. They live deep underground but come to the surface to feed on the nectar of desert plant. They have enormous bottoms, that go “wumba-wumba-wumba” when they walk, and they never make a sound. They are very sweet, and people dig deep into the ground to taste these little living larders. Make up actions to go with this fun song. You can listen to it on the web page.
