After mentioning about the beliefs of the twelver Shias about the personality of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s), Janab Muhaddis Noori(ar) brings the views of 20 eminent Ahle Sunnat scholars who confirm the belief of the twelver Shias.

We briefly mention about few of them:
1. Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Yusuf Ganji Shafei. He has written a separate book about this belief of Mahdaviyyat, consisting of 24 chapters, and has quoted genuine traditions from reliable books. He has in this way proved the belief of Imamites and has refuted the objections of his co-religionists.

2. Shaykh Nuruddin Ali bin Muhammad bin Sabbagh Maliki Makki. In the book of _Fosoolul Mohimmah fee Maarefatul Aaimmah_, he has presented an exhaustive account of His Eminence and proved the Imamate and Mahdaviyyat of Hujjat Ibnul Hasan Askari (a.s.) according to the belief of Imamiyah and he has refuted the baseless objections of Ahle Sunnat against it although he himself is a well known Ahle Sunnat scholar.

3. Muhyuddin bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Muhammad Arabi. He is a scholar of great repute among the Ahle Sunnat. He is also very famous for his rejection of the Shias. Yet we find extensive mention about Hazrat Mahdi (atfs) in his writings. He even narrates the lineage of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s) reaching upto the Holy Prophet (sawa) as per the belief of the Shias.

4. Shaykh Hasan Iraqi. He is a Ahle Sunnat scholar who even had the good fortune of meeting Hazrat Mahdi (atfs) in the period of occultation.

The merciful Hazrat Mahdi (a.t.f.s) granted the honour of his visage to Shaykh Hasan Iraqi. By that same mercy even we sinners are hopeful of being granted a similar privilege.
