With the Magpies now all but safe, preparations can be made for next season’s Premier League but first a few things need to be sorted.


The main thing being whether Mike Ashley will sell the club before the new season, and if not, how much he will back Rafa Benitez with.


Benitez has made it clear that he is wants to stay at Newcastle, if the conditions are correct to do so.


However this is likely to mean a substantial transfer kitty which will allow him to take the club forward.


Also discussed in this week’s podcast is the result against Everton, the game to come against West Brom and the future of the U23s.
