Paul Joannou and Matt Ketchell have reached one of the most exciting eras in the club's 140-year history. February 1992 saw Kevin Keegan arrive to manage Newcastle United. He helped the team avoid relegation to tier three of the Football League and let them to within touching distance of the Premier League title, all in the space of four years.
