When Gareth Southgate was sacked as Middlesbrough manager in 2009, it would have been hard to imagine that within a decade he'd be leading England into a World Cup.
Especially considering he hasn't had a club job since his Boro exit.
But the ex-Boro captain and boss has done a solid job in charge of the national side so far and is now looking to guide the Three Lions into the knockout stages - at least - in Russia.

Dominic Shaw is joined by Philip Tallentire, Anthony Vickers and Chris Garbutt for the latest Tripe Supper Boro podcast. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy
