As a young girl it was difficult growing up in a strict religious household while also a curious teen going through puberty with sex being a taboo topic in my household. I grew curious about my body but never felt like I had a person or place I could talk about it with. At age 15 I was introduced to an 18 yr old man who was a friend of my friend's boyfriend, and he sexually assaulted me.
