Open Mic with Makenna is spreading awareness about mental health issues specifically with teenagers. Her Co-host Aliana Silva created a poetry writing competition in order to help teens express themselves through poetry and writing. She has partnered with Makenna to start this poetry writing campaign. The competition begins on July 1st and ends on the 31st.
