I wrote this song for all of the amazing teachers out there who work so hard to mold the next generation of our nation into stronger individuals! In the same way that soldiers on the battlefield fight for our country's freedom, you men and women who teach fight daily to motivate students to become a part of the change that they want to see in the world. Teaching is both a powerful and valuable responsibility, and I feel extremely blessed to have learned from and interacted with so many thoughtful, wise, kind, interesting, creative, and empathetic teachers and professors. (One last note, To all of my beloved teachers: Thank you for bringing out the very best in me, and for continuing to shape the world every day that you go to work; I love you all 💖)
