We’re diving deep into the fever dream of Shark Boy & Lava Girl and its’ pseudo-sequel, We Can Be Heroes. We’re joined by Bill Stanford, a therapy major with a background in family and adolescence, to discuss parents can effectively discuss mental health with their kids. Our protagonist in the first film uses his imagination; we discuss how that strategy helps children develop and impact their mental health. Plus we discuss how escapism helps, a sense of identity, the need for identity and more.
