ability to paint. What about the quality of the products we make available that ultimately are a direct representation of ourselves? We are what we put out. If we’re using the “most affordable” print paper or selling our art on cheap China made items because that’s the easiest option, but what does that say about your brand? As someone who did not grow up with anything luxury, I tend to price my art at what I deemed affordable as a kid, which makes no sense. It’s hard to get out of that penny-pinching mindset. Although there’s nothing particularly wrong with that but I just want to shed a little light on the other side of branding.
