What a great question! While I can’t give you medical advice, I can tell you that both cyclobenzaprine and baclofen are used to treat spasms. The difference is that baclofen is most commonly used for spasticity due to neurological diagnoses, and cyclobenzaprine is used to treat spasms related to musculoskeletal concerns (back and neck pain most commonly).

Good day to all and thank you for the podcast. Question for the Dr. Howard. - I have been using Bacoflen for seven years for my spasticity. My PCM prescribed Cyclobenzaprine for my spasticity. Is this okay?
