I teach ICT so I use technology almost every day: when I’m in lab I use applications for explaining students how to use tech and apps and, when I’m in class I often use apps to teach more theoretical topics (but sometimes I do lessons using students’ devices as well). So, I manage two points of view: first, I use apps and tech for work and second, I teach students how to use programs and tech in a constructive and effective way. I think that if people, and students in particular, use tech in everyday life also at school we have to use them, and especially we have to teach students to use tech in a right way. Moreover, there are things that we can do more easily with tech. I put here a sentence written by Cristiana that I think summarize some good reasons to use technology in our teaching “…it allows us to use a teaching method that promotes PBL (project-based learning), collaboration, sharing, co-creating. And these are main cross skills our students have to learn.
