In 1974 Ronald defeo jnr systematically murdered each member of his household as they lay asleep in there beds .
killing his mother , father, brothers and sisters .
Just over a year later the Kathy and george lutz moved into the house with there 3 children.
However 28 days later they fled the home ,claiming the house was plagued by evil spirits that terrorized them the whole duration of there stay.
This is probably one of the worlds best known haunted house cases ,and if it was a hoax it still makes for one thrilling ghost story.
