We were in the studio for United Way Day with Nadine Pottinga, Executive Director for United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley and her guest, Roberta Lauder from member agency, Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging.
Roberta gave us an overview of all the services offered to our aging population from SAAA including senior centers, Meals on Wheels, the Senior Helpline, transportation for medical visits and more. Nadine filled us in on the details from their Annual Meeting and reminded us that the monthly Rubbermaid Sale is happening on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the Belk parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall.
