Originally developed out of a jazz fusion sound the Dazz Band transformed this into a classy funk and R&B sound that blended the distinct sound of jazz and funk into what was then termed "danceable jazz". This 1983 release proved the moniker accurate as their sound became highly played in the dance clubs in the early 80's
