In this episode, I talk with Matt Vella and he talks about the Ironman New Zealand. Matt is part of Team Sirius Tri Club and is being coached by Professional Triathlete Bek Keat. Matt talks about the nutrition plan he used for this race, travel from the states to New Zealand, and much more. He highlights the volunteers, the experience this race gives in comparison to other races and even the freshwater swim. In case you didn’t know, you can see the entire lake during this swim course. It sounds very tempting to head down to New Zealand next year.
