A handful of star gymnasts testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee this week claiming the FBI badly mishandled the Larry Nassar Investigation. Olympic Gold Medalist McKayla Maroney told lawmakers that the FBI’s failure to act quickly allowed a child molester to go free for more than a year and that it “directly allowed Nassar’s abuse to continue.” How did such a failure to act occur within the FBI?
