Frederick Weichel spent 36 years in prison for a crime which he claims he did not commit. However, the Attorney General's office says that Weichel is not entitled to compensation for wrongful imprisonment. Weichel's murder conviction was overturned after a judge ruled that prosecutors had withheld evidence that might have proven his innocence. Should Weichel receive compensation?
