A bill was recently introduced by two state representatives that would ban tackle football for children in the seventh grade and under. Kids would still be allowed to play flag or touch football but if passed, schools or leagues could be fined $2,000 for each violation. Should it be parents be deciding if their kid plays football? Is this the best way to prevent long-term concussion issues?
