Drag Queen Story Hour, an organization that began in San Francisco in 2015 before spreading nationwide that has more than two dozen chapters — including one in Boston, which hosts around one event per month in the city’s library branches. The group reads stories to kids to play off the "gender fluidity" of childhood. They say they give children a "glamorous and positive role model.
