At the beginning of the podcast, one of our interviewers (Margaret Skubik) asked a personal question about her own parish. She mentioned a man who seemed mentally ill, who would not participate in mass, who one day went and attempted to touch the tabernacle. At that moment, a priest stopped the man and asked him to leave. When confronted, the man replied with, "You are in my house, I am Saint Michael". She asked if the church should close the doors on the mentally ill, or keep them open and welcome them into open arms. The Archbishop replied, saying he trusted the priest's decision, but did not mention his own personal opinion on the matter.
