22 APR 2024 · Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 Sermon Description: What do we do as believers when the answer we are looking for from the Lord doesn’t come? Or, when we get an answer that we did not want or expect? When we are faced with wrongs and injustice, we can always wait on the Lord’s answer… for it is an answer that we can trust.

22 APR 2024 · Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 1:1-11 Sermon Description: There are many things in the world that do not make sense to us. When we say, "Why O Lord?", we do not always get the answer that we expect. The truth is, his ways do not seem good and just to us at times. Even if his ways do not make sense to us, we can trust him knowing that his ways are truly good and just!

4 APR 2024 · Sermon Description: Through the witness of Scripture, we are invited to come and see the empty tomb along with Mary Magdalene and the disciples! Even though we do not physically see, we see that the risen Jesus is written about so that we may believe! (John 20:31). For it is through believing in the risen Jesus that we have life in his name. Scripture to be read:  John 20:1-10

4 APR 2024 · Sermon Description: At the end of the High Priestly Prayer of Jesus, he prays for the world. Jesus' desire throughout his ministry is that people would believe in him. Jesus' heart for his people now is that they be one so that the world may believe in his name. Scripture to be read:  John 17:20-26

25 MAR 2024 · Sermon Text: John 17:6-19 Sermon Description: Jesus is high and lifted up to accomplish the purpose of saving sinners through the cross. Now that Jesus has gone into heaven, he works through his people to accomplish his purposes! In Jesus' prayer, we see his will for his people: That they be sent out into the world for his purposes.

13 MAR 2024 · Scripture to be read:  John 17:1-5 Sermon Description: As Jesus is about to be arrested, he prays that he may be glorified. It is good and right that Jesus receive glory as fully man and God and we dare not attempt to rob him of his glory. All glory be to Christ, for it is in him alone that the salvation plan of God is fulfilled!

13 MAR 2024 · Scripture: Mark 1:21-28 Summary: When Jesus spoke, His words were different. He spoke with authority when interpreting the scriptures and He had the authority to silence demons. We take a look at a couple of Jesus' "power words," then consider what the strongest word of all is.  Themes: Jesus' authority, sovereignty of God, the word of God, spiritual warfare, evangelism

18 FEB 2024 · A great promise we can hold to as genuine believers in Christ is that true believers do not perish in the end, but persevere (John 10:27-29). However, we also know that perseverance is not passive, but active. Perseverance is not easy, but difficult. As we await the Lord’s return, James paints a picture of what it looks like for the genuine believer to persevere to the end. Scripture to be read: James 5:7-12

18 FEB 2024 · The believer in Jesus must learn how to wisely handle wealth and material possessions. People often place their confidence in that which is so quickly passing away. James offers a stern warning to such a person, for it is the one who lays up treasure in heaven who finds life. Scripture to be read: James 5:1-6

30 JAN 2024 · Scripture: James 4:13-17 Description: We all like to know that there is a plan for our lives. While it is good to plan ahead, we place so much confidence in our assessment of the future. The wise believer in Jesus on the other submits all their plans to God, knowing their life on earth is temporary.
