Feel like life has been unfare to you? Is it hard for you to see the good in your situation or circumstance? Often wonder why you were given burdens that others around you don't seem to bare?' This weeks message & reminds us that there is a sweet fruit produced from lifes bitter moments and trials. Think about it....How many times have you you heard, been told and thought, 'What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger'? The fruit that is produced from lifes hardships, sorrows, suffering and struggles brings forth the true fruit of the Spirit. Did you know that there is a scriptural evidence that clarifies the healthy way to not only look at the tough times in life, but 'why' those times are allowed and 'what' will be produced within us for our greater good in our lives and the lives of others based on understanding the spiritual & mental principle being formed beneathe them? (Luke 8:15 ESV) But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. (Romans 8:25 ESV) But as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything. (2 Corinthians 6:4-10 ESV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (Galatians 5:22 ESV) Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, (Colossians 3:12 ESV) Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-4 ESV) Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3-5 ESV) ***The Mysterys Challenge Of The Week For Us All: 'After listening identify 3 areas of your life where you have 'questioned the situational and circumstantial hardships' in your life. Write them down on a sheet of paper and then decide on 3 different 'fruits' you want produced from and through them....for greater good. ***NOTE: The Easiest way for me is ..once I have identified the hardship....I ask myself ....what will I feel once I have successfully gotten through this!!! Based on what you've learned and been reminded of here.... ARE YOU AWARE OF THE GOD-GIVEN POWER TO THINK, CHOOSE, SPEAK, FEEL & ACT IN FAITH WITHIN YOU when it comes to consciously 'allowing the fruit of your spirit to produce in you.....what you could never produce without the trial' with God each day so that He and His love can flow through you in an 'easier' way for and towards your greater good and he good of others? Jot down the intention to 'let it be so' in your journal and then ask God for the strength, patience and love put it into conscious loving practice with acceptance. Amen.
