13 MAR 2024 · Ephesians: I'm Praying for You. Today we look at Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21.  We look at the encouragement we can gain from his prayer and how we can use his words when praying for others.

6 MAR 2024 · Ephesians: A Special Calling. Today we look at the ministry of the Apostle Paul and what he saw as the heart of his ministry. We read Ephesians 3:7-12 and look for the ways that the heart of Paul's calling can bring us encouragement.

9 FEB 2024 · Ephesians: Brought Near. Today we read Ephesians 2:11-13 and look at what it means to be brought near to God.

24 JAN 2024 · Ephesians: New Life! Today's scripture is found in Ephesians 2:1-10. Today, Paul reminds the readers that apart from God we are dead in sin. But through Jesus we are made alive. Powerful truths in a deep word picture. We discuss the similarities of our new life to that of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.

17 JAN 2024 · Prayer Time: Ephesians 1. Today we read Ephesians 1:15-23 and discuss the prayer of Paul for the church at Ephesus. We look at the elements of his prayer and how we can find encouragement for ourselves and for those we praye for in his words.

4 JAN 2024 · Ephesians: The Abiding Principle. Today we read Ephesians 1:11-14 in the ESV translation. We discuss the concept of our salvation as an inheritance from God and the gift of the Holy Spirit as our guarantee of that inheritance. We discuss the gift of the presence of the person of God instead of a cold, impersonal document. We also discuss a little prayer to use to remind you of these promises of God as you live into the promises of God. I am His He is Mine I am ready, willing and able.

We discuss the depth of the meaning of Christmas and how we can continue to make the message of Christmas a part of our lives every day. We also discuss the transformation of Scrooge in Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" as an example of the power of Christmas to transform us.
