2 FEB 2016 · Battlefield situationalawareness is intelligence projection throughout the length and breadth of the battlefield.This enables the commander in precise targeting and directing fires.To this end ISR assets are employed , sometimes deep beyond the frontline.Tactical commandposts must be carefully selected and manned , protected and ISR teams formed with an appropriate command and control setup with tactical communications of the first order , retaining simplicity in design throughout with maximum throughput.
