18 DEC 2023 · Hi my name is Brad Thibodeaux and I am excited to be launching a new podcast called Providence for prodigals. My goal for this podcast is to bring out some older and forgotten messages of the Church in a way that we can find our way back to a god worth following. I’ll be inviting friends to talk about some important issues facing the American church, writers to talk about their works related to the church, and theologians to discuss the changing landscape of the American church. Providence for prodigals comes from the story of the prodigal son. In this story, we see the son who took his inheritance and wasted it. When he returns home, he is greeted with open arms by his father. This is an incredible story showing our natural instinct for destruction as well as the unconditional love of the Father. It is the father’s providence which wins the son back into the family - the love of god which is god itself.
