I tend to use social media apps like Facebook and Instagram quite a bit, as well as messaging apps like WhatsApp and iMessage to keep in touch with friends and family. Which ones are popular in your country? In my country, apps like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are quite popular, as well as streaming apps like Netflix and Spotify. Do you want to make an app of your own in the future? I've never really considered making my own app before, but I suppose never say never. Who knows what the future holds? What kinds of apps do you expect in the future? In the future, I think we'll see more apps that use virtual reality to create immersive experiences. Additionally, I think there will be more apps focused on personalization and tailor-made experiences. PART 2 Describe a time when someone gave you positive advice on your work. You should say: when it happened who the person is how the advice affect you and explain how you felt about it. The person who gave me positive advice on my work was my supervisor, who is very knowledgeable and experienced in our field. As a result, the advice was very helpful and allowed me to improve my work by giving me new ideas and insights that I hadn't considered before. Feeling grateful for the positive advice, I realized that my supervisor believed in my abilities and was invested in my success. Additionally, it gave me more confidence in my work and motivated me to improving, which is essential for achieving long-term success. PART 3 Is it essential to give children positive feedback? You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, and positive feedback is like honey. It's essential to give children positive feedback because it helps them feel good about themselves and motivate them to do better. What happens when parents overly encourage their children? When parents overly praise their kids, it can have negative effects like making them feel entitled or afraid of making mistakes. Kids may also become too dependent on praise and find it difficult to motivate themselves. Which is more important, negative or positive feedback? Both types of feedback are important, but it's important to balance them. Negative feedback can help kids improve, while positive feedback can motivate them to do better. It's important to provide feedback in a way that helps kids learn and grow. How can parents provide effective feedback to their children? Effective feedback should be specific, timely, and focused on the behavior rather than the child. Parents should also offer constructive criticism and suggest ways to improve, rather than simply pointing out flaws.

When I was a child, I didn't go to cinema very often, maybe only once or twice a year. It was always special treat when my parents would take me and my brother to watch movie. Do you often go to the cinema with your friends? I don't go to cinema very often with my friends, maybe only once or twice a year. We usually plan movie night out for special occasions or blockbusters. It's always fun to catch up with friends and watch a movie together. Do you still like the same kind of movies you loved when you were a child? My movie tastes have changed over the years, but I still enjoy some of the movies I loved as a child. I like to watch comedies that make me laugh. However, I'm also open to exploring new genres and trying out different kinds of movies. Part 2: Describe a business person you admire. who this person is how do you know this person what business the person does The business person I admire is my uncle. He owns successful clothing store in our city. He started his business with a small investment and slowly expanded it into a well-known brand. I consider him a successful businessperson because he has worked hard to build his brand and provide quality products to his customers. Despite facing challenges in the industry, he has managed to sustain his business and expand it over the years. Part 3: What do you think is the retirement age for men and women? I think the retirement age for men and women should be equal. In my opinion, it should be around 65 years old. However, it may vary depending on the country and industry. What kinds of qualities do people need to run their own business? In order to run a successful business, people need to have a variety of qualities, such as creativity, leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions. I have more than 10 friends and I am not sure if I should say this is a lot! However, I had more than 30 friends in my school days. With the passage of time, the number plummeted. If I count my Facebook friends as real friends, the number would go high! How often do you go out with friends? I meet my friends almost twice a week. I love to spend my weekends with them and sometimes I visit different places, watch movies and discuss different topics with them. I do not go out with all of my friends. I mostly hang out with 2-3 close buddies and go out with them almost 3-4 times a month. Tell me about your best friend at school. My best friend at school was Alex and he was a great friend. He was tall and brave. He taught me how to show courage when we are in trouble. He has had a great impact on my life. Though he lives in Poland now, we regularly communicate via Skype. How friendly are you with your neighbors? I must say I am quite lucky to have good neighbors who are always supportive and well-behaved. We have been living in our neighborhood for more than a decade and our neighbors have become our close relatives. We have a mutual understanding and an invisible bond that ties us together as good neighbors. Which is more important to you, friends or family? To be honest, family comes first. However, there are some friends who become our family members. The bond between family members is often stronger but this does not mean that we do not have friends who are less important in our life. Being with the family makes us who we really are and friends make our life worth living. PART 2 Describe a person you admire. You should say: who the person is what he or she is like and why you admire him or her. PART 3 Which types of people become role models in your society? Unfortunately, gone are those days when young people used to consider their fathers, teachers and medical doctors as their role models. Nowadays, it is mostly movie stars and famous sportspersons who become role models in my society. Some of us would even argue that anybody, with plenty of money, has a shot at becoming a role model in our society which is really unfortunate. Do you agree that famous people have more responsibilities than ordinary people? Yes, I do agree that famous people have more responsibilities than ordinary people because ordinary people look up to them for some kind of leadership role in fixing some of their problems. And, that’s exactly why sometimes we see world-famous persons like Angelina Jolie and David Beckham acting as some special UN goodwill ambassadors in order to raise awareness on different urgent issues that are affecting our world community negatively. What happens when young people lack good role models? If young people lack good role models, it is very possible that they are becoming extremely confused over time with what kinds of roles they should take in their families and societies. As a result, our society will have to struggle with generations of young people without moral values who would bring no good except chaos and crimes. What standards of behavior should teachers set? I believe that teachers should set some good behavior standards for others by teaching discipline, good moral values, and respect. These principles will build an ideal and functioning society in which we will be able to live and co-exist happily. Do you agree that you should never meet your heroes? I have never found a reason which would suggest that I should never meet my heroes. On the contrary, I have always believed in meeting my heroes since it would inspire me, even more, to become like the heroes I have always admired. What benefits does a famous person get that ordinary people cannot?

I like taking long walks with my friends and sometimes alone as well. Apart from the many health benefits that it has, walking helps me to relax and spend quality time with my people. Also, it saves fuel expenses. 2 Do you like to walk on your own or with others? I usually prefer walking alone as it allows me to manage my own pace. I find it an excellent way of keeping my body fit and also reducing mental stress. However, I do go for walks with my family members or friends sometimes, especially to spend quality time with them. 3 Would you say that your city is a good place for walking? Not really. I live in a metropolitan city, so there are very few places to walk. Moreover, walking in such hot weather with heavily polluted air is definitely not a good idea. So, I do not recommend my city as a good place for walking. 4 Do people in your country walk a lot? Well, people residing in cities really don’t walk too much as they usually travel long distances in routine. However, the ones living in the countryside walk a lot within their vicinity. The city residents consider walking as a fitness medium and prefer early morning walks. 5 Do you think walking is important? Yes, I think walking is the best and the simplest way to stay fit in today’s busy life. People hardly have time to exercise, and on top of that, most jobs are limited to the desk. Hence regular walking is indeed very important. 6 Do you think walking in the countryside is better than walking in the city? Yes, walking in the countryside is definitely better than walking in the city. The greenery and fresh air that you can enjoy in the countryside are scarce in crowded cities. Plus, rural areas are more peaceful and pollution-free, which makes them perfect for long walks. 7 What could be done to improve the experience of walking in cities? Actually, a lot can be done to improve the walking experience in the cities, like planting more trees and constructing parks and separate lanes for walkers all across. Moreover, there could be special walking zones with no vehicles allowed during some hours of the day. PART 2 Describe a successful small business that you know. Where is it located? Who owns it? Why is it successful? How did you come to know about it? PART 3 1 How can success be achieved? Success can be achieved after persistent efforts and hard work toward the achievement of goals. Remaining grounded and not letting success get to the head are important as they do not stagnate a person’s growth and make him achieve greater heights. Success does not come overnight, regularity is needed. 2. Is there any guaranteed shortcut to success? No, there is no such step that can guarantee success, let go of having a shortcut to success because it comes unexpectedly and is only long-lived if gained by hard work and consistency. Shortcuts often lead to short-lived success, followed by failure. 3. What do you mean by – failures are the pillars of success? The lesson that this saying gives is that failure and success are both part and parcel of life. But, generally, failure is followed by success as people start putting in more effort and, with more determination, are able to achieve success. 4. What are the qualities that a businessperson should possess? Business personnel is diligent and ambitious toward their goals. Being strong-willed, they are never really put down by their failures. Having a charismatic personality, they motivate others to follow in their footsteps. Punctuality is a vital part of their personality, and they most often have a schedule that guides their daily activities. 5. How can a person own a business in your country? 6. Should consumers have blind faith in businesses?

Do you like to take photographs? I am not a professional photographer but I do like clicking photographs from my phone. For me, photographs are mere collections of memories that I often display on my social media accounts. These pictures remind me of the great times I had. 2. How often do you take photographs? Technology has made life so much simpler and more convenient. I take photos every now and then from my smartphone when I have to go for a walk just to make sure that I am looking good. 3. Have you framed any of your photos? Yes, I framed two photos with my BFFs. And, I keep them in my room on the side table of my bed. 4. Do you prefer to take photos yourself or to have other people take your photos? Why? It would be way more comfortable taking photos by myself, as I can see crystal clear how ridiculous my facial expression looks. In addition, I can apply the techniques that I have learned to produce stunning photos. 5. Do you keep your photographs on your computers? Yes, usually after a month, I transfer all photos from my mobile phone to my computer. Because it is always safe and secure on my PC, also this solves the problem of insufficient storage on my phone. PART 2 Describe an occasion when you lost something and then got it back? What was it? When and where you lost it How you felt? PART 3 1 What kinds of people may lose things often? Well, I think two groups of people may lose things often. Firstly are the careless people, they do not have the habit of putting things in order and they like leaving things around carelessly. The second group is the old people. Since they are quite old and they are not as energetic as they were before, most of them become more and more; forgetful as time goes by. So, I think the elderly may also lose things often too. 2 What can we do to prevent losing important things? I think there are several ways for people who want to prevent losing important things. To start with, they can develop a habit of putting certain things in certain places. Secondly, they can write down the places where they put the important things in a notebook. Since most people are busy with their studies and work, it is unavoidable that people sometimes tend to be forgetful when they are extremely busy. So, these are two ways to prevent losing things. 3 What would you do if you saw something valuable that didn’t belong to you on the street? When I was young, my teacher taught me that it was illegal to use the things of other people without the owners’ permission. So, I may pick up the thing and send it to the police station, and ask the policemen to find the owner. 4 What is the most valuable thing you have lost so far and how? Well, to be honest, I have lost many things so far but here, I want to mention my cell phone. Unfortunately, I just lost my mobile phone last month. At that time, I was catching the subway to the university. Since the subway was too crowded, I just put it in my pocket, instead of my bag, when I got off the subway, I found that my mobile phone was stolen by the thief. 5 What do you usually do to look for lost items? Usually, I go back to the place where I lost the items to check whether the lost things are still there. Sometimes, I ask the people nearby whether they have seen my things. Finally, if I still cannot find it, I consider buying a new one.

Well, I wear makeup but not in my regular routine life, because I am more of a natural-look person. However, when there is any occasion like a party or a wedding to attend, I love to apply light makeup as it accentuates my facial features. 2. What does wearing makeup mean to you? There is no doubt that makeup improves one’s looks but since I am an advocate of natural beauty, I feel a bit superficial. But sometimes, when you are required to look a certain way, cosmetics enhance your looks and boost your confidence too. 3. Have you ever bought makeup as gifts? Yes, many times because I have a lot of female friends who are really fond of cosmetics. They appreciate my choice and since, I travel a lot, so I love buying grooming products of different brands for them. 4. What do you think when you see a man wearing makeup? In modern times, beauty norms are changing. Everyone wants to look trendy, be it a man or a woman. The use of makeup is no more considered a feminine thing. So as long as a male is comfortable and confident, I am okay with men wearing makeup. PART 2 Describe a time when you were sleepy but had to stay awake. When did it happen? Why you were sleepy? Why you had to stay awake? And how you stayed awake? There have been many times when I have stayed awake at night. I usually do so when my cousins come to stay over for the night at my home. We watch some movies and just have fun with each other. Here, I would like to talk about a time when I was really tired and sleepy, but I had to stay awake. It was the last day of my exams, and I hadn’t slept the whole night before. As I was coming out of the examination hall, I was thinking I would go home and hit the bed. But when I came home, I was surprised to see a lot of my relatives at home. My grandfather had slipped in the bathroom and injured himself. They had already taken him to the hospital and got his X-Ray done. PART 3 1. On what occasions do people need to stay awake even when they are tired? People need to stay awake when they have to prepare for exams, when there is some function at home, when there is a sick person at home, or when they are traveling. 2. I don’t remember having any nightmares, but there are times when I just wake up in the middle of the night, having remembered nothing. But, there was a friend of mine, who used to get scary nightmares. 4. Have you ever walked in your sleep? Do you know anyone who does? I don’t remember ever walking in sleep, yet my friend told me about this guy from her college who used to walk in sleep and run across a certain tree until he got exhausted. Later, with the help of a psychologist, he was able to fight things back. 5. Are you a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? I am definitely a heavy sleeper who has to go for light sleep. I love to sleep and in my initial years of life I used to sleep a lot, but with later years coming in, I became more responsible and started sleeping only that much as was required by my body.
