20 JAN 2024 · There’s a version of life that co-exists with the one you most often live – a life rooted in the Kingdom of God where things actually make sense – where you win more than you lose – where you can actually find some peace in the crazy storms raging around us. One where your destination in life is clear, and the journey taking you there is worth waking up for.

11 JAN 2024 · You don’t belong here – you’re only passing through, and as such, if we can learn to put things in proper perspective, we’ll be less inclined to get sideways over the small, daily, mundane mud holes we keep stepping into.

3 JAN 2024 · Helen Keller wrote, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure.” A new year brings so many opportunities to reach your fullest potential. The old year is gone – a distant memory, good or bad. So what goals do you want to achieve this year? Do you have a plan for how’ll you’ll get there?

20 DEC 2023 · As long as we live in a (albeit struggling) democracy with most of our freedoms still in tact – we actually do still have the freedom of choice. Yet, the vast majority of the time we blame someone, or some situation, or some institution – not taking responsibility for our own actions – it’s really us – our choices, or unwillingness to choose – that is we blame, for our circumstances. What is one thing you could stop doing right now that would change the circumstances?

14 DEC 2023 · There's a lot of SAD people right now. The holidays are tough on a lot of people. If you’re having a fairly calm, normal holiday time – count your blessings – really. There are so many that are struggling. Some people are just SAD, and don’t know why? Is that you? SAD can also stand for – Seasonal Affective Disorder. One of the first best ways to deal with it is to talk about it. If you're feeling sad and overwhelmed, talk to someone. Talking is a great place to start the healing.

9 DEC 2023 · Get alone with God and re-group. Don’t keep sitting with the chaos, holding onto the heartache, and burying the disappointments of this season. Life is hard enough as it is. If we're going to win this war for our souls, we need all of the resources we can get our hands on.

5 DEC 2023 · What’s holding you back? What’s in the way? What has to go? What’s between you and the “you” you hope to be? Want to be? Finding the answers to questions like these require effort – participation – a process. Time to sit with God and ask; What are you after – where do you want to take me? God loves our questions; but are we willing to receive His answers?

30 NOV 2023 · In order for change to happen – we have to get outside of our comfort zones. The world is not going to conspire to change your life for you. Here’s my challenge – for you, and for me, for 2024 – let’s get outside of our comfort zones. Look within yourself and decide if you’re willing to commit to this journey of change – whether you’re 34 or 84. If you want life to be different – it can be. It will be.
