28 NOV 2022 · Head coach Landon Grove and his players address the media at a post-game press conference after his West Catholic Falcons defeated the Negaunee Miners, 59-14 (Nov. 25, 2022) in the Division 6 MHSAA finals. Joining him were junior Carter Perry (#13, SL/DB), senior Timmy Kloska (#22, RB/OLB) and senior Bernie Varnesdeel (#2, QB). In the press conference Kloska said he will remember this season as "family." The team finished the season 13-1 and captured its first state championship since 2017. On the show, the senior transfer talks about the welcoming West Catholic community, as well as Friday night's big win against rival Unity Christian, 36-18. The win makes the team to 8-1 overall and OK Blue Champions. West Catholic remains ranked No. 1 in Division 6 of the MHSAA varsity football.
