25 JUN 2016 · Don't know if this is pessimism or realism BUT: Say there was a website created that stated in large text and in plain English that scrolling to the bottom and clicking the "Yes I Want Stage 4 Cancer" button would immediately give it to you. What percentage of the population would click the link within one week? How many of them would claim that they were tricked or "didn't know it would actually work!!!!" I say at least 30% of the global population would click the button and we've been programmed to do so. The world is filled to the brim with harmful material that we consume to no benefit. We can't even shop at the supermarket without seemingly legitimate salacious gossip mags trying to make us generate feelings about the personal lives of people in a voyeuristic fashion. Then we talk to our friends about these things that are very rarely legitimately important and it becomes the same thing as the fast food we know we shouldn't eat and the stupid TV shows we allow ourselves to watch as if they are not hypnotizing us to the tuning fork of idiocy. Having a lack of awareness means that you can be a pig slowly being led to the slaughter and not even know it. Whether subtle or overt, it is all programming and will change the look or function of the program (YOU) whether that be by .0000001 percent or 100 percent. Sometimes people are artificial, a lot of our food is artificial, mainstream music is formulaic and artificial, our concept of a "country" is artificial and what we watch on TV and in movies is artificial. With everything being so fake people wonder if anything is real. This is a 100 lane super highway to the land of cognitive dissonance and existential angst. On the other hand knowing what God (or Eternal Force, Krishna, Buddha Nature, Atman, Highest Self, call it what you will) looks like and constantly knowing what it's like to be in his/her presence is priceless. Recalling past encounters is good but reporting live from the presence of God is ideal. The spiritual connectivity is sort of like a laptop. It's best to keep it plugged in for maximum performance. You can be away from the power for some time but at some point the notification will come up that your battery is running low and the spirit will automatically dim itself as it shuts down non critical programs and eventually DIES.
