The Bank has a museum so you can easily find out why the Bank was opened and how it has developed over the centuries.
Jennifer Adam, who is the curator at the museum, explains the Bank's history, as well as what is on show at the museum.
The museum displays and special exhibitions explain the Bank to people of all ages. It is worth a visit, they don’t give out free samples, but you can hold a gold bar.
