12 JAN 2024 · On July 8, 2022, I recorded audio to help answer a question on Zora B's Hack My Age Podcast. Cold immersion is by far one of my favorite tools for getting present when my (wild feminine) is taking over and my mind feels chattery and chaotic and noisy with the voices of the world around me wrestling for space. Since 2015, I've been on a journey of connecting with the Divine Feminine within. I studied Kundalini Yoga as a teacher in training, which has roots in the divine feminine. I taught this yoga, which is very much breathing-based, at a reiki studio, and over time noticed that my most committed participants were male. While I use language in this recording as if I'm speaking only to women, feel free to disregard that if you're a guy. And if you ARE a guy, I'd love to hear what resonates with you! 24 DEC 2023 · Basically.... I needed to learn how to be STILL back in 2017, because I was newly divorced and experiencing the highs and lows of navigating dating again. Stillness is a journey. Especially if our nervous systems were wired for chaos, drama, fighting, and the like. Talking to trees has been helpful to me in rewiring my nervous system for stillness. I'm going to give you examples: My first time intentionally talking to a tree in 2018 A time in the Spring of 2023 when I talked to the trees and it helped me perceive my situation with patience.
