Thank you to everyone who has stuck by me and the pod, I appreciate every single one of you. 24 year old Annie Le was an exceptionally bright and promising young woman. At the age of just 24, she was working towards her doctorate with studies in pharmacology at Yale University and was getting ready to get married and settle down. Everyone who knew Annie described her as a bright and smart young woman and when she disappeared just 5 days before she was due to get married, her husband-to-be knew that it wasn’t a case of cold feet. Before Annie could ever graduate and walk across the stage at Yale, her life was taken away from her. This is Annie’s story. 31 JAN 2022 · 18-year-old Tammy Lynn Leppert was anything but your average 18-year-old from Rockledge Florida. By the time she had turned 18, Tammy had participated in over 300 beauty contests, taking the crown 280 times and was on the path to stardom. She had recently picked up two small roles in Hollywood films, the most notable of which being ‘Scarface’. But this fame and fortune wasn’t as glamorous as it seemed, behind the scenes, Tammy was exhibiting bizarre behaviour and when she mysteriously disappeared in July 1983, a whole host of questions came bubbling to the surface. 17 JAN 2022 · 4-year-old Aron Siermans looked up at his paternal grandmother Anne and said “Mummy’s up there.” The uneasy feeling in Anne’s stomach grew, knowing that her daughter, Sharon would never leave Aron unsupervised. Anne had gone to the house that the mother and son shared on Doveton Street in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia after Sharon had failed to turn up for a prearranged meeting on April 6th 2013. 28 DEC 2021 · Annie Borjessen was born and grew up in Sweden but always had a longing and love for Scotland. In 2004, Annie’s dreams came true when she moved from her native Sweden to Scotland to study English. Her family were over the moon for her, every time they spoke she seemed incredibly happy and was excited to see what her next adventure would be. Sadly, those adventures would be tragically cut short in what is one of Scotland’s most mysterious deaths. 1 NOV 2021 · In January 2010 builders began works on the carpark located between Angel Street, Danztic Street and Muller Street in Manchester. On January 25th 2010 builders at the site made a bone-chilling discovery. As they were working, one of them came across a human skull. When they dug further they found the rest of the skeleton wrapped in sections of blue carpet. As of 2021, the remains are still unidentified and she is known only as "The Angel of the Meadow". 19 JUN 2021 · The lives of the Fellows and Hadaway families would be forever changed on October 9th 1986, sending them on a 32-year hunt for justice. The fight for the families was anything but easy, but the tenacity of Susan Fellows and Michelle Johnson-Hadaway paid off and in 2018 they would finally see justice for their bright, beautiful 9-year-old daughters Karen Hadaway and Nicola Fellows. Countries across the globe are facing an epidemic, that epidemic is not a disease but nonetheless, an epidemic that is claiming the lives of young women. According to a 2000 report by the U.N at least 5,000 women are victims of femicide each year. In 2013 one woman in Juarez decided that enough was enough and that she was going to take matters into her own hands. To this day, we simply know her as “Diana The Hunter of Bus Drivers”. 16 APR 2021 · On March 19th 2009 Claudia Lawrence left her home at 5am for York University where she worked as a chef. Claudia would never be seen or heard from again.
