The Revolution Speakes

  • # 22- Bad dating advice

4 APR 2018 · Guests - David Dial & Sam Corbett This podcast is a free for all. Some comedy talk, as we discuss the show my wife and out on recently. David and I also talk about our experience in the comedy tournament we participated in at the Stables casino comedy club The Looney Saloon. We each say what things we are passionate about in life, one of mine involves a certain bunny, a playful one. David shares a story about being in a mosh pit. The real fun is when we get into discussion about women, dating, and how bad we all are at both. Two married men and one single guy will talk one night stands vs relationships. All kinds of nonsense involving our dating life’s before marriage. With a challenge at the end of the podcast involving David and a potential future date of his. Thanks for listening and enjoy the show.

  • # 21- Talking to A Man w/ Zach Amon

22 MAR 2018 · Guest - Zach Amon Also featuring David Dial On this podcast my guest is another fellow comedian. He is a college student and chef in Oklahoma recently back from a comedy hiatus. He’s been on the local comedy scene in Oklahoma for about 3 1/2 years, a funny guy who claims his girlfriend is actually funnier then he is. We recorded this podcast on location in Joplin, Mo at a open mic so you will have some bar ambience in the background. We discuss his changing comedy style and what his comedy writing habits are. Of course pro wrestling gets brought up and how we think it can relate to the comedy world. You’ll hear some life philosophy from Zach and what it was like having a dad for a teacher growing up. We all love movies don’t we, the self-described “Rain Man” of movies Zach tells us what he learned from movies growing up. In particular what the movie “Grandma’s Boy” taught him. This was a very fun podcast so sit down and enjoy the ride. Thanks for listening!

  • #20 - A Dose of Wellness w/ Kasey Thiele

9 MAR 2018 · Guest - Kasey Thiele On this podcast I’m joined by friend and former classmate Kasey Thiele. She is a wife, a mother, but more importantly for this show a certified Natural Health and Wellness Consultant. She runs a relatively new business called Dose Health and Wellness while also still going to school to receive her doctorate. I couldn’t be any happier about this episode because of how much this stuff interest me. Caring about ones health should be important to all of us, unfortunately there lots of misleading info out there. We talk preventative health as opposed to just treating disease along with what exactly holistic health is. It’s not just the food we eat, but also the make-up and household products we put on our skin or ingest. You will hear about gut health and it’s importance when it comes to digesting things like gluten or dairy. I urge you listen to this podcast if any of this has ever crossed your mind. If it hasn’t then please give it a listen because we both care about your health and so should you. Thanks and peace!

  • # 19 - The Hipster Jungle w/ Pauly Ray

21 FEB 2018 · Guest - comedian Pauly Ray Also featuring David Dial & Sam Corbett I’m talking this week with fellow funny man Pauly Ray about comedy, life on the road as a wanderer, and his comedic influences. He is the co-host of the Blue Room podcast as well as the co- creator of a new variety show called Anything Goes w/ Pauly Ray & Wingo. There’s a great little story about being a potato. You will also find out who his favorite pro wrestler is along with what TV show he finds heart warming. If that isn’t enough to get you listening then just do it because Stone Cold said so. Peace, thanks, and enjoy!

  • # 18 - I don’t want to wear real pants!

9 FEB 2018 · Guest - my beautiful wife Jennifer This is a fun podcast with our good friend Tito sharing in the fun. Comedy related things will be discussed, like upcoming shows, being on local TV recently, and making the podcast bigger and better. It’s also a sad time because my mother just passed away. We share some memories of her and talk about how it becomes apart of my comedy. Laughter really is the best medicine so I hope this maybe helps someone who could use a laugh. This podcast comes from the mind of Comedian Brandon Speakes. Basically the goal of the podcast is just the pursuit of the truth through open and honest discussion between friends, family, or even strangers. Social media has taken over and we are losing the ability to communicate face-to-face and that is scary. The Revolution Speakes is a one man revolution to open some minds while trying to change the world one person at a time, one story at a time. Let the discussion begin!
