The Marketing Minute with Chris Jensen

  • Episode 24: The Importance of Owning Your Online Presence

30 JAN 2019 · Do You Own Your Web Presence? While recording this podcast, I was surprised to hear that in 2018, nearly half of all businesses do not have a website. Those that don't have websites rely exclusively on social media platforms for their online presence. But Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram and others can easily change how your business is categorized and even worse shut down all together without warning as we saw last year with Google +. On this edition of the Marketing Minute with Chris Jensen, I begin a conversation with Chris Celek, owner of Celek Media. Chris is an advertising industry professional who I have had the pleasure to work with for  over 10 years. In this podcast, we revisit and update the information we shared in a previous podcast when social media first became a viable option for business. In this podcast Chris explains the importance of having your own web domain and the dangers of relying exclusively on social media.
