He began his career as a model and then pursued acting, landing roles in various television shows and films. He is best known for his roles in the series 24, Joan of Arcadia, 90210, True Blood, Frequency, and Nancy Drew. He is also a singer and songwriter who has recorded songs for the Nashville soundtrack and his own band, The Life of Riley

30 NOV 2023 · In this episode Kenyon is joined by Mike and Patty Street to discuss the legacy of their son Chris Street. Chris Street was an American college basketball player who played as a power forward for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 1990 to 1993. He was born on February 2, 1972 in Leon, Iowa and moved to Indianola, Iowa in 1987, where he starred in basketball, baseball and football at Indianola High School. He committed to play basketball at the University of Iowa as a junior in high school. Street was a hard-working and passionate player who averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in his junior season. He set a school record by making 34 consecutive free throws, a record that still stands today2. He was a potential NBA player, but his life was tragically cut short on January 19, 1993, when he died in a car accident after colliding with a snow plow on the outskirts of Iowa City. Street’s number 40 was retired by the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chris Street Award was created to honor the player or players who best exemplify his spirit, enthusiasm and intensity. Street is remembered as one of the greatest Hawkeyes of all time and a beloved figure in Iowa basketball history.

Scott has been at KCRG since 1999 and has seen many unforgettable moments in Iowa sports history. He also features the skills and accomplishments of high school athletes in his weekly segment, “Athlete of the Week”. Scott is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing golf, basketball, and softball in his spare time. He lives in Marion with his wife and three kids.
