17 DEC 2020 · Allen Parker is an electrical engineer at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC). He is the lead for the FOSS team which stands for Fiber Optic Sensing System. He graduated from Prairie View A&M University and then Texas A&M University. Jonathan Lopez is an aerospace engineer at NASA AFRC. He was a NASA NIFS intern for 2 rotations and was a NASA Pathways intern for a year before being hired. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach, and was hired as a full-time employee this fall.

27 NOV 2020 · Halle Fields graduated in 2019 from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Honors, with minors in Business Technology and Mathematics. Currently, she is a full-time Software Developer at the Federal Reserve and part-time Computer Science graduate student at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.

5 NOV 2020 · Andres Vargas is an accomplished Industrial engineer and MBA graduate with 7 years of work-related experience in Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, Life Cycle Cost analysis, and data analytics. Andres currently works as Mission Assurance lead at Northrop Grumman systems. A proven leader with experience leading organizations such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at the student and professional levels. He's won two Quality is Personal Awards from Northrop Grumman and various other awards throughout his career.

16 OCT 2020 · Dr. Reza Abdolvand, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCF. He leads a research group called Dynamic Microsystems Lab, advising several researchers on a variety of projects in the field of micro-electro-mechanical systems. He and his team have authored more than 80 journal and conference papers and two book chapters and his group is world-renowned for their contributions in the fast-growing thin-film piezoelectric resonator technology and its applications. Dr. Abdolvand also teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in the general area of microelectronics including linear circuits I and II, Electronics I and II, Introduction to MEMS, Introduction to Sensors, and two graduate courses on microfabrication techniques. Dr. Abdolvand is the recipient of the 2019 UCF teaching Incentive Award, and the recipient of the 2018 College of Engineering Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award.
