30 MAR 2020 · Humminbird hub had another outstanding individual Winky Singh interviewed in a podcast by our very own Wilhelmina De Boer Dekker. Winky is at the forefront of the women's rights revolution in India by providing employment, skills, reforming and rehabilitation for women prisoners in India. Winky is a fashion designer for Bollywood cinema and it’s her passion to assist women in regaining their power through participation in creating a fashion line, which has never been done before in India. Currently Winky is working with 2 jails in Delhi- Tiger jail and Mandoli jail which are currently the biggest in Asia. On the 3rd of February Winky was granted permission to launch the fashion design project to 19 more jails. The project will start for the first 5 on the 29th of February 2020. It has been our absolute pleasure to have an inspiring discussion with Winky, a woman of great heart and vision.
