  • E 14 Helen Tremethick - Brand-Voice Strategist and Copywriter | The Framing Podcast

11 JUN 2017 · Online communication isn’t about magic formulas or some secret stuffed into a fill-in-the-blanks template. It’s a careful balance of truth and nuance. People choose you, just as my clients choose me. And because I think backstory is important, here’s a little more about me: I built The Communications Distillery with a proprietary blend of background in communications and my experience in the non-profit sector. I’m that person who has held every imaginable position from volunteer to Executive Director, and facilitated everything from visioning and strategic planning sessions to Board Development days. Though I’ve amassed years of formal education, my pride is in my Compassionate Listening certificate, a skill I believe is integral to communications of any kind. Outside of The Communications Distillery, I am a mother, a storyteller, and a Camp Tech instructor. I believe in integrity. I like biting cherries right off the tree. My favourite chocolate is very dark and fairly traded. I have a huge soft spot for people doing good work. Maybe that’s you. If so, let’s talk next steps!

  • E 13 Bari Tessler - Financial Therapist, Coach & mama-Preneur | The Framing Podcast

25 MAY 2017 · It’s said that you should never talk about Politics or Religion. Well, I would also add money to that list, money is the leading cause of stress, and fights in marriages according to a CNBC article. Your upbringing, culture, life experience, social status, and even race all play a part in our individual comfort level when it comes to earning, spending, saving, giving and talking about money. So to bring a little levity and love to the topic I invited my friend and Author, Financial Therapist and Coach Bari Tessler to my podcast to talk about her new book “The Art Of Money” In this episode, you will learn how to bring creativity to our relationship with money.
Bari Tessler Linden, MA, is a Financial Therapist, Mentor Coach and Mama-preneur. Bari’s gentle, body-centered approach weaves together personal, couple, and creative entrepreneurial money teachings into one complete tapestry. She is the founder of The Art of Money: a global, year-long money school, which integrates Money Healing, Money Practices and Money Maps. Her work has been featured on Oprah.com, Inc.com, and the Huffington Post and in US News & World Report, Reuters Money, The Fiscal Times, Experience Life Magazine, Yogi Times, Best Self Magazine and Emerging Women. Bari is also the author of The Art of Money: A Life-Changing Guide to Financial Happiness, published by Parallax Press. • • • ► If you enjoyed this episode and want to get the complete show notes, resources, links, and more go to: www.TheFramingPodcast.com *New episode every Monday

Welcome to The Framing Podcast. This is the place where we bring creativity to life. I’m your Host, Ricardo McRae.
We’re talking to the best of the creative class from around the world and bringing you incredible insights from artist and tastemakers to entrepreneurs and athletes.
My guests share their honest stories, their best advice, and how they bring their creativity to life.
In fact, we even find creativity in unexpected places,.. like the cubicle. Stay tuned ...

You might be wondering why I’m so passionate about exposing you to these creative conversations. Well, It’s because as a trained fine artist, a TEDx speaker, a father, a husband and a seasoned entrepreneur myself, I’ve seen how often my creativity has been underestimated. Yet, time and again, it’s my creativity that is responsible for my biggest wins, and most memorable experiences.

And why is it called The Framing Podcast? Well, this concept hit home with me about 2 decades ago when my mentor told me that “the framing around a piece of art is the most important thing” It was the late Geoffrey Holder. He explained that a dance on the side of the street gets dollars, and dance at Carnegie hall makes millions.
The value is created by framing.

I want to inspire you to bring your creativity to life. From a canvas to your cubicle.
The world needs you to tap into your creativity, and THIS is where you will learn how.
