  • Disruption in the Community - Eps. 8

25 JUN 2022 · This episode is talking about the recent increase in violence in our communities and the country. It is not an intense discussion just an awareness discussion from Dr. Cynthia's perspective on some triggers of why there is a increase in violence and looking with an open mind that there is not just one reason why this is happening. Four points of thought are: • Change in gun laws (not an in-depth discussion) • Handling anger management and conflict resolution • Awareness and act-on building safety procedures • Communication - See it, Speak up Asking Educators to think about what can you do in the classroom with students and what you can do differently or better to continue to make an impact on these points of thought. Post your constructive comments and perspectives. The next few episodes will be the Summer Break series. "Do summer break differently"…what does that look like?
