After over 35,000 hours of research, he founded a process he called "Peterson's Dominant Process Systems" which is a combination of geometry and human movement. “After that, I said, "That's it. This is the science of human movement. The science of how humans can take their body and do anything with it that they need to. They can handle a gun, knife, club, multiple fights." • Never Stop Working the Problem: A Story on Leadership - Episode 3

7 MAY 2020 · The latest guest on The David Johnson Show is Lt. Commander Retired Navy SEAL Jon Fussell. Jon is a former Business Manager at Wellington Management Company, the largest independent investment management firm in the world, and founder of Patriot Leadership Development, a consultancy in which Jon teaches physical and mental approaches to leadership for corporate executives. In the full episode below, Jon speaks about the importance of coming together and working as a team; his business work in the corporate world; how his military training and leadership has impacted what he does today; and how veterans can adapt to new situations to understand how to move ahead. “You have to figure out how to work as a team,” says Jon in the episode. “Going through SEAL training, you can't survive that as an individual. You're not getting through there. I'm not going for miles, and miles, and miles, of running with a 400 lb. telephone pole on my shoulder. I certainly didn't do that as an individual. Miles of paddling and rowing, with a 400 lb. boat on your head. You're not doing that as an individual.” Follow us: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedavidjohnsonshow/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/DavidJohnsonSho LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-david-johnson-show/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedavidjohnsonshow/ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/davidjohnsonshow/ Website: https://thedavidjohnsonshow.com/ See the video podcast on YouTube: https://youtu.be/bG6DDy2ZY7Y

  • Navy SEAL Veteran Craig "Sawman" Sawyer Reflects on The Chapters in Your Life - Episode 2

23 APR 2020 · This week’s guest on The David Johnson Show is Navy SEAL veteran, Craig Sawyer, aka ‘Sawman’, who has transitioned from his Navy SEAL and counter-terrorism military career into working in television, the Internet, humanitarian non-profit work and mentoring young veterans on their post-military lives. In the episode, Craig shares his story of how he started initially with the Marines, but moved into the Navy SEALs in his early 20s. Craig served in the Gulf War (1990-1991), gaining combat experience in Desert Shield and Desert Storm as an Operator at SEAL Team One. He was later promoted to the Naval Special Warfare Development Group or 'SEAL Team 6', a Counter-Terrorism unit administered by US Naval Special Warfare Command. In the early 2000s Craig transitioned to a new role with the U.S. Air Marshal program and spent most of the ‘00s in Air Marshal service. His military operations skills helped him get chosen to lead a military commando team in Africa to halt rhino poachers. This started his work in TV production, movies, acting, voiceover work and more in the past decade on networks like Animal Planet, the Military Channel and The History Channel. In recent years, Craig’s humanitarian efforts have manifested in his work to combat child sex trafficking through his non-profit Vets4ChildRescue - https://vets4childrescue.org. “Craig’s background is so amazing, it should really give hope to other military vets looking to make a mark after military service ends,” said David Johnson, host of “The David Johnson Show”. “Craig said to me recently, "I'm in my 50's and I'm just now finding the real passion in my life." That in and of itself is a powerful story. To be in the 50's, with everything he’s done, to see him writing a new chapter is very inspiring. I hope our viewers feel the same.” “The David Johnson Show” is a national voice that talks about points of interest in the American military and veteran subculture. Eventually, Keith spent all of his 20s in Afghanistan. Keith also shares the challenges of transitioning to civilian life. David & Keith also talk about the drive of being part of the military family, the pride and power when you hear “HOOAH”, the beloved battle cry of the Army. The David Johnson Show is a national voice that talks about points of interest within our cultural – The Military and Veteran Cultural.

More so than ever the Military and Veteran community has created a culture in America. A sub-culture unique to our way of life, our experiences and the language we speak. Military forces have been deploying to fight the war on terrorism since 09/11/2001 and remain engaged in combat operations to this day. We have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. This mindset of a Soldier, Airman, Sailor or Marine is never lost. Yes, the individual will exit the Military and start a new chapter in their life, however, the culture never dies.
