    11. The John Salley Episode

28 APR 2020 · Welcome back to another episode of Sports on the Fly With Miya and Ry! This week, we share our initial reactions to the newest episodes of 'The Last Dance.' Fellow IU Sports Media students Michael Tilka and Brandon Schaff join us to give their thoughts on the latest episodes of the ESPN documentary series. Plus, we play a game called "Who Said It?" where Rylie and Miya pick different quotes from the latest episodes, and our special guests have to guess who said each quote. Things get so intense, one of our guests leaves the Zoom meeting faster than Dennis Rodman left for Vegas. You won't want to miss this episode! WARNING: the following program is rated TV-MA (language), viewer discretion advised.

  • 10. The Best Cereal Bracket Episode

17 APR 2020 · Welcome back to the pod (via Zoom)! This week on the pod, Miya and Rylie create a bracket of the best 16 kinds of cereal and taste every one of them to determine what cereal is the best. We broke up the bracket into four regions; chocolate, fruity, classic, and "healthy." We asked you what cereal is your favorite, and then determined the seeding based on your answers! Once again, we do not talk about sports, nor was this episode on the fly, but we do eat an absurd amount of cereal, and that's fun too, right?

  • 9. The Best Disney Channel Show Bracket Episode

5 APR 2020 · WE BACK (via Zoom)! In honor of March Madness, Miya and Rylie create a bracket of the 16 best Disney Channel shows, and pick a surprising winner. Plus, Rylie died her hair blue and might get a puppy! Miya and Rylie don't mention sports at all in this episode, and the episode certainly isn't on the fly, so the show's name isn't very relevant to this episode. But it will bring on some nostalgia for all you Disney Channel lovers.

  • 8. The Sad Girl Episode

14 MAR 2020 · Welcome back to the pod! This week's episode is a little different. We discuss all the news that has been made public regarding the coronavirus, and how it's affecting the world of sports. We don't have a hot take song challenge or pass or shoot segment on this episode, but we will be back with more fun content next week! Rylie and I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has been listening to our podcast and supporting us along the way. It's been so fun to step out of our comfort zones and try something new. We would also like to thank the IU Media School for providing us with fantastic facilities to record our podcast and Galen Clavio for helping us launch the pod. We couldn't have done any of this without the help of Galen and the media school. We will be back with new episodes every week, but we will record them on our laptops instead of in a podcast bay, so the quality might not be as good, but hopefully, the content will be even better. This is a great time for me and Rylie to explore other topics to discuss on our podcast rather than just sports. Thanks again for listening, we appreciate you all so much! Try your best to stay healthy, smart, patient, and kind. We will get through this wild time together. -Miya and Rylie
