17 SEP 2024 · On March 5, 2024, around 7 p.m. on Dreamy Hill Avenue, near Commerce Street and Tropical Parkway in North Las Vegas Justin Smith (his loved ones called him “Jay”) was shot multiple times and crashed his car. He was taken to the University Medical Center and after several days, sadly, he did not make it, leaving behind so many people who loved and depended on him.
We speak to three of those many loved ones, Jojo, his son’s mom, his brother Xavier, and his partner Sam. They knew him best so we’re going to go straight into that interview. We truly appreciate them being willing to tell us more about the amazing person Jay was. Here is our interview with them.
Just a note: The apple transcription did a job on the links.. so as a reminder On YouTube, it will likely be muted because of copyright, but we’re going to include links in the show notes so you can find all of Jay’s music. You can find it on YouTube (JayGrindz702), Apple Music, or Spotify by searching for Jay Grindz, and pretty much all the standard platforms, and we recommend you giving him a listen.
