    18 AUG 2018 · "The Outer Limit". A warning from beyond, and a last chance for mankind! The story was previously broadcast on "Dimension X" on April 8, 1950 and subsequently on "X Minus One" on November 16, 1955 , on "Suspense" on February 15, 1954 and March 17, 1957. The script was also used on "Escape" on February 7, 1950, on "Beyond Tomorrow" on April 13, 1950 and "Beyond This World" on February 23, 1950. A similar script was used on "Your Movietown Radio Theatre" on December 17, 1947. Story of an experimental rocket plane which disappears for ten hours when it only had fuel for ten minutes. The pilot tells an incredible story of an alien contact. Graham Doar wrote the original and Ernest Kinoy adapted it to radio. + The year is 1965. There is a vast concrete runway set in the desert of the south west. A giant metal ship stands proud and pointed to the stars. In 5 minutes the signal will flash and it will tear up through the atmosphere to the outer limits. A thrilling tale of alien contact. Tonight we escape with the pilot of an experimental jet rocket aircraft, about to be hurled 40 miles out from the earth's surface, into the limitless boundaries of space.
