7 JUN 2023 · In this video join Dave Phare & friends in activating the light of the Holy Spirit within. Dave reminds us of the purpose of A Course In Miracles and the experience it is pointing to which is gained through the application of its principles and workbook lessons that are designed to train the mind in a different way of seeing, bringing all forms of fear to light in order to have our mind changed so our relationship to everyone and everything is wholly loving and reflects our true nature. Dave stresses the importance of being alert to any upset and the temptation to minimize it. We must recognize we ARE upset if we're not wholly at peace and allow any form of fear to rise in our awareness where it can be undone if we are still and don't adjust by seeking some form of distraction or solution in the world. We are reminded that everything we see is a symbolic representation of our relationship with God and all fear under whatever guise we have projected it onto, is fear of God. Dave talks about the honeymoon period which can often occur with students new to using A Course In Miracles where everything can seem to be rosey and bright for a moment, like the student is being held a moment in a cocoon of grace as they begin to see a new. Like all things of time, the honeymoon phase shall pass and the rollercoaster ride may look a bit like the house of horrors for a moment until many miracle have been experienced and vigilance for the kingdom becomes prevalent. He stresses the impossibility of valuing anything in the world, what is judged as good, bad or ugly without experiencing it's flip side. The miracle takes us outside of that thought system entirely where true peace and joy abides. He also explains the condition of the mind in forgetting and using the forgetting to help us remember better. Dave also gives vignettes of personal miracles he has experienced throughout his transformation of mind, including being healed of cancer upon the invitation of a brother declaring, "he had no use for it", recognizing it served no purpose. Dave also reminds us EVERYTHING that arises in our mind gives us an opportunity to experience the miracle so transforming our relationship to God from one of fear to LOVE. These lessons are completely applicable and relevant to you on the level that Jesus needs you to be at. That's it! What He says is good enough for you, IS good enough for you!" ~ Dear One🎤 Lesson 51 1. *Nothing I see means anything.* The reason this is so is that I see nothing, and nothing has no meaning. ³It is necessary that I recognize this, that I may learn to see. ⁴What I think I see now is taking the place of vision. ⁵I must let it go by realizing it has no meaning, so that vision may take its place. 2. *I have given what I see all the meaning it has for me.* I have judged everything I look upon, and it is this and only this I see. ³This is not vision. ⁴It is merely an illusion of reality, because my judgments have been made quite apart from reality. ⁵I am willing to recognize the lack of validity in my judgments, because I want to see. ⁶My judgments have hurt me, and I do not want to see according to them. 3. *I do not understand anything I see.* How could I understand what I see when I have judged it amiss? ³What I see is the projection of my own errors of thought. ⁴I do not understand what I see because it is not understandable. ⁵There is no sense in trying to understand it. ⁶But there is every reason to let it go, and make room for what can be seen and understood and loved. ⁷I can exchange what I see now for this merely by being willing to do so. ⁸Is not this a better choice than the one I made before? 4. *These thoughts do not mean anything.* The thoughts of which I am aware do not mean anything because I am trying to think without God. ³What I call “my” thoughts are not my real thoughts. ⁴My real thoughts are the thoughts I think with God. ⁵I am not aware of them because I have made my thoughts to take their place. ⁶I am willing to recognize that my thoughts do not mean anything, and to let them go. ⁷I choose to have them be replaced by what they were intended to replace. ⁸My thoughts are meaningless, but all creation lies in the thoughts I think with God. 5. *I am never upset for the reason I think.* I am never upset for the reason I think because I am constantly trying to justify my thoughts. ³I am constantly trying to make them true. ⁴I make all things my enemies, so that my anger is justified and my attacks are warranted. ⁵I have not realized how much I have misused everything I see by assigning this role to it. ⁶I have done this to defend a thought system that has hurt me, and that I no longer want. ⁷I am willing to let it go. (8) *My mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.* I see only my own thoughts, and my mind is preoccupied with the past. ³What, then, can I see as it is? ⁴Let me remember that I look on the past to prevent the present from dawning on my mind. ⁵Let me understand that I am trying to use time against God. ⁶Let me learn to give the past away, realizing that in so doing I am giving up nothing. 4. Holy Week 1. This is Palm Sunday, the celebration of victory and the acceptance of the truth. ²Let us not spend this holy week brooding on the crucifixion of God’s Son, but happily in the celebration of his release. ³For Easter is the sign of peace, not pain. ⁴A slain Christ has no meaning. ⁵But a risen Christ becomes the symbol of the Son of God’s forgiveness on himself; the sign he looks upon himself as healed and whole. There was a palpable activation in the room and Dear One encouraged an awareness of the continuous flow of these Light activations and the opportunities to extend as we go about our "busy doings". A reminder was also offered to follow the specific guidance given in "The Course" in the application of these lessons and resist the temptation to work out salvation on our own terms based on past learning and succumb to the denial of the fullness of what's being offered through the application and activation of these lessons. Simply do this: Be still, and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is; all concepts you have learned about the world; all images you hold about yourself. ²Empty your mind of everything it thinks is either true or false, or good or bad, of every thought it judges worthy, and all the ideas of which it is ashamed. ³Hold onto nothing. ⁴Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned before from anything. ⁵Forget this world, forget this course, and come with wholly empty hands unto your God. In this section he gave a powerfully clear warning to beware, "...there's like this seemingly never-ending brick wall of concepts.". And an even more powerful follow-up to that statement, "The concepts are useful for a moment because they give meaning to the principles (and) The principles are only useful if you apply them. It's the application of principles that brings the result! ...Experience is the teacher and it's experience that we're about here!"🎤 Then the joining fell into a bit of Q&A; from which some powerfully transparent questions flowed; which were met with crystal clear responses and a beautiful personal parable and helpful Q&A. This was a really dense Satsang that continued straight into our Light Session.
