I sometimes wonder, if in some parallel universe bookworms do exist, I must have been one in my last life. And I take the liberty to picture them as such curious beings, living in the corners or ceilings of various bookshops and libraries, where the air smells like adventure and excitement, where they fall asleep in beds made of books, that tell them bedtime stories every night.

And sometimes I wonder, maybe one of the main reasons why I keep learning different languages is to read more books. Have you ever experienced that first moment , when you step into a bookshop after having acquired certain level of fluency in a new language? For me, it is always magical. As if suddenly a whole new world opens up for me, and every book on the shelves tries to win my attention with their beautifully-designed covers and interesting titles.
