The Guidelines seeks to regulate Data Protection practices in Public Institutions in Nigeria at all levels of government, that is, Federal, States and Local. Public Institutions must, in accordance with the Guidelines, the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and other relevant data protection laws in Nigeria, consciously protect the Personal Data of Data Subjects in the data processing activities of the Public Institution.
