28 APR 2022 · There are people that by all appearance and circumstance that many have counted out and given up on. People who've made wrong choices and as a result has fallen on hard times, the downtrodden. Those battling with addictions, and those dealing with the results of abuse, hurt and emotional trauma. As we glean through the scriptures we take notice of real people, with real issues and how one encounter with Jesus changed their lives. One encounter with Jesus can change everything and transform lives to the glory of God through the persevering and prevailing prayers for those many have given up on. There is hope for the "seemingly" hopeless. His name is Jesus.

20 APR 2022 · Foundational Scripture Isaiah 50:4-5 The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning. He awakens My ear to hear as the learned. The Lord God has opened My ear; and I was not rebellious nor did I turn away. Isaiah chapter 50 is prophetic in tone is about Jesus Christ and verses 4 and 5 give us a glimpse into His prayer life and point us to a very important component is prayer; listening to God. Whether encouragement for others or for yourself, God has a word for every season to strengthen you.

29 MAR 2022 · The Prophet Habakkuk's prayer of faith is a very timely prayer. During his time the nation of Judah was in moral and spiritual decline. There was much injustice, corruption, and wickedness and there was an impending war ahead. Habakkuk's heart was deeply grieved and cried out for God's help and for mercy. Though the world was in chaos and seemed to be on the edge of disaster Habakkuk cried out to God in faith, received an answer, and chose joy and in hope in the God of His salvation.

28 FEB 2022 · Have you ever felt discouragement in regards to answers to prayer? You've been believing God for a person or a certain situation but you don't see any indication of anything changing? Know that when you are praying according to the will of God your prayers are working and there is grace in the waiting. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15
